Pumpkin Patches to Visit This Fall

Fall has arrived, and that means corn mazes, hay rides, and all things pumpkin! Thankfully, you don’t have to travel far to get to a cozy, family-friendly pumpkin patch in Vancouver. You’ll find family-run farms all over the Lower Mainland. From Aldor Acres Family Farm in Langley to Bose and Sons in Surrey, check out the best pumpkin patches to visit in Vancouver this fall.

ALDOR ACRES FAMILY FARM

Aldor Acres Family Farm in Langley is one of the most popular pumpkin patches in the Fraser Valley. Open daily between September 18th and October 31st, Aldor Acres has both a pumpkin patch and fall market. The farm is large in size and has lots of parking. Admission is $13 per person, with pumpkins costing extra. Open from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm, this year’s pumpkin patch is open to the public, however, tractor rides are cancelled due to the pandemic. They have a wide variety of pumpkins available, not to mention a farmers’ market with produce, preserves, and fresh eggs, as well as open-air animal interactions with pigs, ducks, goats, donkeys, emus, and more.

EAGLE ACRES DAIRY FARM & PUMPKIN PATCH

Eagles Acres Dairy Farm & Pumpkin Patch is another popular spot in the Langley area. This year, they are hosting a SaFarmi Stroll and Corn Maze, meaning there are tons of fun events for people of all ages. The corn maze is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm throughout September while the SaFarmi Stroll will have you wandering among farm animals, including cows, ponies, pigs, goats, and sheep. Eagles Acres Dairy Farm has over 200 farm animals on-site, as well as their pumpkin patch which opens in October.

BOSE AND SONS FAMILY FARM

Head to Bose and Sons Family Farm in Surrey for a day of fall-filled activities. While the corn maze is closed for 2021 due to the pandemic, the pumpkin patch will likely be open for business throughout October. Take a wagon ride out to the pumpkin field and pick your own! The Bose and Sons Family Farm also has a small farmers’ market with local goodies to enjoy.

If you plan on visiting Vancouver this fall, then visiting a local pumpkin patch is a must. And if you need a place to stay during your visit, we’d love to host you at the Hotel BLU Vancouver.
