The Peak of Christmas Returns to Grouse Mountain This Year

Grouse Mountain’s annual Peak of Christmas festival returns for 2021!
This is the best way to feel completely transported this holiday season, without leaving Vancouver. For roughly six weeks, Grouse Mountain is being transformed into Vancouver’s very own north pole.
On now until January 3, 2022, Grouse Mountain invites guests to feel the enchantment of glittering lights, snow, and real reindeer (yes, you read that right).
Included with your Mountain admission ticket, the Peak of Christmas also features an 8,000 square foot mountaintop skating rink surrounded by snow-covered trees and picturesque Blue Grouse Lake featuring magical light installations, such as a light tunnel and lit deer.
Young ones will love being able to visit Santa in his workshop and meet reindeers Dancer and Vixen. Santa’s Workshop is open for business on weekends and weekdays between December 6th and the 24th. Reservations to visit Santa aren’t required in advance. Instead, you can ask Santa’s elves for a timeslot upon arrival.
Guests are welcome to take a photo with Santa in his workshop, and photos are by donation, with all proceeds going to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Contactless donations can also be made at Santa’s Workshop and photos will then be emailed directly to each group.
Only one group will be permitted inside Santa’s Workshop at a time and masks are required at all times inside. Seating will take place next to Santa, rather than on Santa’s knee.
There’s also a Sliding Zone, Reindeer Ranger Talks, Elf Headquarters, Letters to Santa, Christmas Crafts, and Breakfast with Santa (though the latter is sold out for the season).
