Beat the Winter Blues at Hotel BLU Vancouver

Perched on the Pacific Ocean and relatively close to the equator, Vancouver has extremely temperate winters. That means visiting Vancouver is a great way to escape the winter blues.
Experience the best of winter without the hassle of shovelling driveways.

SKATING IN ROBSON SQUARE

You know the scene. It’s a romantic comedy set in New York, or anywhere with an outdoor skating rink, and a young couple get onto the ice tentatively, falling into each other’s arms and laughing and smiling. It’s a romantic hallmark because, well, it’s just so NICE.

Good news. You can live out that scene by going for a downtown skate in Vancouver’s own Robson Square. Located directly across from Vancouver Art Gallery, you can either skate for free by bringing your own skates, or rent a pair for a low fee! It’s a classic Vancouver experience that you have to experience.
Ironically, you can beat the winter blues in Vancouver by staying at Hotel Blu, the premier boutique stay experience in the heart of Vancouver’s upscale Yaletown district.
